Kevin Smeeing (Netherlands, 1988) is a creative director and artist working with social interaction, conceptual design and emotive everyday stimuli. Initially trained as an industrial designer in the Netherlands, Smeeing progressed to an MA in product design from London's prestigious Royal College of Art. His work investigates the perceived value of objects, through mediating between products and space, enabling people to engage with ideas through experience. Works include the Turn Around tableware, Onggi ceramics and shows like Dealing with Feelings in Helsinki and Transitions in London.
